HAPPY EASTER!!
Our plan for today is to experience how Easter is celebrated here. We supposed to get up at 6:30 a.m. and get ready for the church at 7:30 a.m.
But Didi, Proud, and Bangpan got up got up a bit early because of me. I got up at 5:00 to go to the bathroom, but my movement woke them up. Sorry about that though.
Then Im got up and we started chatting (maybe a bit too loud), so Gifted, Green, and Amy woke up as well.
We girls dressed up quite early and tidied our things up. We were all ready before any of the boys woke up.
It was about 6:40 a.m. and the boys’ room is still dark and quiet, so I decided to knock on the door and wake them up.
Then we had cereals&milk and pudding for breakfast. George came to the dining room after we all finished our breakfast and led us to the church.
I was impressed by the people here. They welcomed us so warmly even though we did not know what we should be doing while they were saying prayers.
After that we go to “Piggly Wiggly” to buy some pancake mix for lunch. George also bought some fruits and more snacks.
I felt like we would all be so fat when we go back in 6 weeks!
When we came back from Piggly Wiggly, we went out for a walk and had fun in snow in a playpark (playground+park) nearby.
Then around noon, we went back to start preparing lunch. We had pancakes and scrambled eggs.
Bangpan, Proud, Didi, and Amy were responsible for pancakes, while Gifted, Green and August were cooking scrambled eggs.
Since the girls already did the cooking, it was the boys turn to do the dishes. Poor boys. hahaha.
Since we are all too tired because of jetlag, we try to make ourselves active so that we won’t be asleep in the afternoon and end up having a sleepless night.
These are what we do to keep ourselves awake:
-Topaz, Extra, Ultra, and Oui played cards
-Bangpan, Didi, Proud, Amy, Im, Gifted, Green played random games they could think of
-Jedi, Poon, and August played Uno and other board games George brought here.
and me: trying to write a blog half-conciously.
It’s almost 6:00 p.m. and we are going out to McDonalds for dinner and to update our blogs.
