I bet today was one of the best day for Bangpan. Why? Because she doesn’t need her clutches anymore! 🙂

We went to Holy Family Memorial clinic for a follow-up appointment on my ankle, and since Bangpan couldn’t wait to throw her boot away, she needed an x-ray, too.
I went on my process of check-up and was seperated from Bangpan, so I didn’t see her x-ray picture, but she must have healed because the doctor said she doesn’t need the clutches anymore. She still need to wear the boot, though. So do I. The doctor said it healed but still I should wear my boot and took it easy on that foot. Well, this means the boot gang goes on.

As a treat for this little good news, George took us to Menchies for some ice-cream, and as if they knew we had a problem with bones, here’s what on their wall.

After we finished with our “healthy” ice-cream, we headed back to Reedsville to drop Bangpan off, and zoomed back to Manitowoc to meet Plakaow’s host family at Friar Tuck’s, a mysterious restaurant (for George) that had been there like forever. The restaurant looked a lot like a witch cottage from the outside, and enhanced that feeling once we got the inside. It had no windows, double heavy wood doors, and dimmed lights. I felt as if I went into the wizard world, lol. It was a great dinner, good food, good place.

Once we got back into the car, George handed me his phone and told me to call Kay. Then I knew exactly where we were heading to.
So instead of calling, I facebooked Kay and ask for another rescue, but today she didn’t come alone, she came with Debbie and Mia (I’m sorry if I got your name wrong, I really have hard time with names :P). We went into the Beerntsen’s Confectionary, a homemade chocolate candies and ice-cream shop near Bad Panda. I knew I told Kay I was so full, but I couldn’t help having another ice-cream. I bought some easter chocolates, too. And as I was busy choosing chocolates, I didn’t know who paid for my ice-cream. I thought it was Kay, so I planned to pay her back when we arrived at her house, but it turned out that it was Debbie who paid for it! I was kind of worried but Kay said it was ok, so thank you.

Then we went back to Kay’s house and watch the Little Big Shots and another food program. Kay brought a big box of baby clothes she had bought for Nissa out and put them all into a bag for George. We went through all of the clothes and I had a feeling that Nissa could just wear each costume once, without doing any laundry, before she outgrow them. Baby clothes are so cute, but babies could only wear them a few times; babies grow sooo fast! Unlike me, I can still wear the same clothes from my middle school year, hahaha.

Anyway, when George came to pick me up, Kay gave us “Jim Larson Plumbing” hoodies, and told us where to get our name on it for free. It would be nice to have a name on it!

Thanks a lot
