It’s getting colder again, why? Is it because we are in Two Rivers? I don’t know.

Today George stopped by at Younkers mall on our way to Manitowoc. The sign said it was ‘new’, but the mall itself was nothing close to that at all. It was once new and popular when George was young, but now it felt like a great location for The Walking Dead series. We were quite curious why it could still survive with employees to pay for and this few customers, but maybe just because it’s weekday afternoon when most people were still at work or at school, maybe there would be more people in the evening.

We left quite fast because there was nothing to do there, plus we had more things to do. We stopped for lunch at the Galley across from the mall. Since I ate a lot before we left the house, I didn’t want to eat another meal. So I ordered a chocolate shake and a side dish, which was about the same size as a main dish. I was sooooooooo full.

We still have some more time before it was time to visit Jedi. Guess where we went?

Around a quarter to 5, we headed out to the Anhalt family. When we arrived, a little girl opened the door for us. As other students did, Jedi took me for a tour around the house, but this time, Ivy, the little girl, joined in and showed me her room. They also took George and me to see the chickens their family raised. I bet Ivy would become a good tour guide; she had sooo much to tell and she was so cute. She even gave me an apple to help my ankle heal!! hahaha 😀

Whereas Jedi, during the tour, asked me a lot about home and school visits. He also asked if I brought him mama noodles. Well, I didn’t know he wanted me to do so. Anyway, seemed like he had been doing well. He also helped the family feeding the chickens. He’s such a big boy now 🙂

We had to leave their house quite early and headed back to Two Rivers to the Wiltgens. Their house is an A-framed, which looked somewhat different but cool. I like the design of the house a lot. The inside gave me the feeling of a cosy cottage while the outside looked more modern. Extra and Ultra had their own bedrooms but they chose to stay together and left one room as a closet. We had a little talk with them and found out that they enjoyed being here. They were doing well at school, but there was still room that they could improve to better this trip. They just need to spend a little more time with their host parents, and they will get the best out of this one-month homestay. They’ve been doing great with their blogs. In fact, most of the students are doing well. Keep up the good work everyone!! (DON’T FORGET TO POST YOUE BLOGS!!)

We left the Wiltgens alone so they could have their dinner. On our way back, we saw a bunch of deer so George pulled off side way and took some pictures. Then he dropped me off at the house and went to you-know-where 😛
